British adventurer and writer, Arjun Bhogal, discusses his 5 year walk across the world, from the UK to Australia.
The walk saw him cross through deserts, mountains, and areas of vast civil unrest along the way, as well as being hunted by the Taliban and spending a few nights in a Kyrgyz jail after encountering some corrupt police.
The walk was inspired by the millions of people around the world that walk for clean and safe water on a daily basis and aimed to raise awareness for the charity Wateraid.
The idea behind the project is to try to inspire people’s imaginations and encourage them to take on their own adventures, no matter how big or small.
This talk proves once and for all that you do not have to be special to achieve seemingly impossible things; we are all capable of great things.
