This presentation speaks to the need of our leaders to be initiated through rites of passage. We explore what it means to be initiated and the purpose of a traditional rite of passage. We look into what it takes to step into eco-centric leadership, to listen to the deeper needs of the whole eco-system. Now more than ever, we are looking for systemic change within our governing systems. Our young leaders hold the key to pioneer a new way, connected to indigenous culture, country and the deeper needs of humanity.
Karla shares her work as the founder and facilitator of the Young Shaman Foundation, connecting people back to their origins through indigenous spirituality, story and connection to land. This work serves to initiate the change makers, pioneers and young leaders of Australia.
